It dialogues with the propositions of Piaget’s constructivist basis, although it adopts a socialhistorical approach. In order to analyze the data produced, part of Ferreiro and Teberosky studies, dislocating some conceptual aspects of their studies to comprehend, according to Mikhail Bakhtin’s theoretical assumptions, drawing and writing in their discursive dimension. It selects, for purpose of analysis, productions made for imaginary interlocutors and ends inferring that the distinction between drawing and writing is a school construction, supporting the thesis that different languages keep relations among themselves throughout the process of child development.
