An essay concerning some categories of John Locke’s philosophical-educational thought

This text has as purpose to show some of the categories of John Locke’s (1632-1704) philosophical and educational thinking, in order to make an essay of a possible way through which they would be related. In this way, these categories would be, in fi rst instance, the elements that articulate his thought, in order to, with it, in last instance, constitute themselves to be the keys to one think about the importance of the teacher’s rigorous, methodical and systematical philosophical breeding.Key words: education, philosophy, John Locke.
