Pedagogical practice at high school: the process of innovation building in the teachers’ view
Abstract
This paper presents the results of a research project on the pedagogical practice developed by 13 high school teachers cited by the pupils as being “different”. The experiences described by the protagonists are taken as the focus of analysis in the context of innovation, which implies to enter a universe of efforts full of meanings and expressions, placing us in contact with the “school’s floor” and allowing us to understand how this practice transforms the pattern of relationship between teachers and pupils. We look at the daily life of the school and the classroom of each one of them, trying to grasp the movement that gives life and form to their actions and seeing them as citizens who build and give meaning to the relations established in the space where they act.
Key words: pedagogical practice, innovation, high school.Downloads
