Abstract

The text discusses an academic experience that has the intention to collaborate for the construction of a feminist pedagogy that incorporates gender issues, without abandoning the pedagogical proposal from the popular education, but, on the opposite, dialogues with this production focusing on the intentionality of feminism. The proposal is interdisciplinary and is especially anchored in the area of education, sociology of work, and gender studies, from the rescue of life stories in workshops with groups of settled peasant women, participants of the Movimento de Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra (MST) within the city of Pinheiro Machado, State of Rio Grande do Sul. As a goal, we aim at contributing to a process of emancipation and empowerment of these peasant women through the introduction of handicraft courses for the women involved.
