This paper presents a reflection on the possible relationships between the concept of “anthropotechnics” of Peter Sloterdijk and training in the contemporary world. It proposes the idea of “liberal anthropotechnics” in order to show that training is now a technique that requires a revision of the concept of discipline (despite the apparent contradictions raised therein) in the way in which the latter was discussed by Kant in his Über Pädagogik, since it appears to be reevaluated for pedagogical practices today.
Keywords: training, liberal anthropotechnics, pedagogy.
