The article discusses the research method and training of researchers in education from a poststructuralist horizon, focusing on the thought of Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari and post-metaphysical legacy of Friedrich Nietzsche. The study develops: (a) a criticism of a methodological condition of research, from a representational view of language, establishing a “watchword” in the construction and legitimation of educational problems; (b) the exploitation of the work experience of thought of Deleuze-Guattari taken as a case study to encourage discussion about creating research methods. We point out that the Deleuze-Guattari meeting operates as an agency in creating a kind of method as an event. This discussion is strategic for the training of researchers because it enables the debate on modes of thought and linguistic construction of educational problems by modulating other policies of truth in education.
