Critical socioinstitutional dynamics: A question about schools. The case of a small island village
Abstract
The article explores the advances achieved in the author’s research line, “Institutional dynamics under critical conditions”. After discussing the main conjectures concerning the impact of those dynamics on the school spaces, it presents the most recent progress in this research project. Being carried out among a small island community which undergoes the impact of a global change in their life and production circumstances, this investigation is making it possible to focus on the problem through a conjecture that may help to understand in a new way the difficulty of the schools in terms of fostering changes of the habitual forms of social life.
Key words: socioinstitutional dynamics, crisis, schools.Downloads
