Abstract

The object of this paper is the reflexive theorization of key-concepts to the understanding of the spaces, places and territories where the processes of training of the higher education teacher take place. It attempts, in a relational way, to distinguish terms that are used as synonyms, but which have distinct meanings, in the light not only of Linguistics but also of Philosophy, Sociology and Politics. The intention of this exercise is to subsidize research that resorts to the mentioned constructs, showing when a space becomes a place and when it reaches the condition of territory. The perspective is of favoring the consistence of the research in the field of teacher training.

Keywords: higher education teaching, training places, higher education.
