Abstract

The present review addresses Amurabi Oliveira's book "Ethnography for Educators," highlighting its accessible and practice-centered approach to ethnographic research in the educational context. Oliveira guides readers through the fundamentals of ethnographic research, from field immersion to thesis writing, emphasizing the importance of cultural sensitivity, ethics, and the integration of theory and practice. The author illustrates discussions with concrete examples and case studies, offering valuable guidance for novice researchers. Furthermore, the review suggests the inclusion of a chapter on the various forms of ethnography publication, enhancing the book's utility for educators interested in educational research.
