Introdução para uma análise sobre o pensamento conservador brasileiro no período mais recente da presença obrigatória da Sociologia no Ensino Médio (2008-2018)

This article aims to present multiple facets of Brazilian conservative thought between 2008-2018. We will observe implications and/or causalities in the period, between conservatism thought and the teaching of sociology, in the period between the reinsertion of compulsory Sociology in High School, with Law n. 11684/2008, to the educational reform that removed the obligation of such discipline. Our research is qualitative, it involves an analysis of a theoretical contribution on the themes, Conservative Thought/ Sociology of Education, and an analysis of the Brazilian educational system. The article concludes by showing that the expansion of a new right ideology, which is not exclusively conservative, as we will demonstrate, has impacts on teaching and pedagogy models in the country.
