“Se esta rua fosse minha”: um projeto interdisciplinar numa escola do 1.º Ciclo em Portugal

In this text, we will present an interdisciplinary project (areas of Portuguese, Science, Mathematics, Expressions -Physical and Artistic- and Citizenship), developed in a programme of initial training of teachers, in the curricular unit “Educational Intervention Projects” of the Degree in Basic Education at the University of Aveiro (UA), by a group of future teachers and their supervisor, together with a class of 25 children in the 3rd year of schooling. The work resulted from the protocol between the local municipality and the UA, regarding the project “If this street were mine”, where the intention was: to develop the spirit of belonging and community, to involve the children's families and to build a didactic game, Ilhopólio.
