This research deals about the management of learning in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) considering the new teaching methodologies. We aim to verify how the Hackathon teaching strategy interferes in the learning management in a higher education institution. To compose the theoretical framework we used and researched the last 5 years and classic authors such as Chiavenato (2007), Dornelas (2016) and Nóvoa (2019). As a methodology, we use the qualitative approach with a single case study of umaIES based on public data and document analysis with a semi-structured interview. The results show university entrepreneurship the nature of risks resulting from the innovation that integrates the triple helix. So, learning management with active methodology provides meaning for the entrepreneurial student, especially regarding the solution of real problems.
