Authorship and style in Gabito Nunes’s chronicles
Abstract
This paper aims to explain the discursive and stylistic marks on Gabito Nunes’s chronicles, an author who was consecrated through the Internet, in order to understand what makes his writing style unique, giving him prestige in the web. Based on the theoretical and methodological support of the French school of Discourse Analysis, especially on the concepts developed by Maingueneau, we reflect about the notions of authorship and style, as well as how these concepts affect communication at the present time, which is understood as an era of multimedia convergence.
Keywords: authorship, style, discourse, Internet.
