Linguistic analysis in mother language teaching: A systemic functional approach
Abstract
In this paper, we investigate knowledge from different sources in the construction of innovation in linguistic analysis activities for Portuguese classes in Basic Education. The data were generated in a laboratory practice involving the development of teaching materials, unfolding in a pilot study for the teaching unit testing in an Elementary School class. Results have shown as the grammatical tradition contents emerge before the attempt construction differentiated teaching objects compared to the Portuguese teaching’s tradition. The innovation is due of the systemic-functional focus of grammar for reading and linguistic analysis, resulting in a didactic work with and about the language.
