Abstract

The main purpose of this article is to analyze the propagation and proliferation of a racist ideology of color, taking as corpus the film Filhas do Vento. Fragments from the macro speech, which underlie the discussion, were extracted and cut under the light of the French line of the Discourse Analysis theory - DA, taking as basic reference the categories subject and ideology, derived from studies of Pêcheux, as well as restriction and control, by Foucault, in dialogue with others from Humanities and Social Sciences. Namely: color racism, bleaching and social prejudice, under the theoretical criterion of Guimarães, Munanga, Skidmore, and others of great importance that guided this study.

Key words: ideology, subject, racism, subjectivity and power.
