The doctoral thesis in Law: From the project to the defense

Abstract

Aiming to examine the process of elaboration of a doctoral thesis in Law, the article covers all the main phases of this journey, from the project to the post-thesis period. More than examining the methodological aspects of the doctoral research, the role of the thesis as an instrument for doctrinal creation is a point addressed through this paper, especially regarding the condition of legal doctrine nowadays.
