Some challenges to criminal law in risk society

Criminal law faces a serious crisis in the context of risk society. This article analyzes the need for an acceptance of crimes of abstract danger, collective legal goods and the criminal liability of legal entities in order to protect future generations without jeopardizing the individual rights dating back to the Criminal Enlightenment.
