The challenges of local election constitutional justice in Mexico

This article discusses the design - established by the laws of the State Constitutional Court - of the instruments by which the control of constitutionality is carried out by studying the local laws that have extended constitutional protection to the electoral arena. It addresses the content of each of the laws that provide for protection of constitutional elections. Finally, it deals with the claim of unconstitutionality and legislative omission in electoral matters and the procedure for the abstract control of the claim of electoral unconstitutionality.
