Fundamentals and Contexts in Jurisprudence: Interview with Brian H. Bix

In an interview during his visit to Brazil, Professor Brian Bix discusses his academic background, his experience as a PhD student under the supervision of Joseph Raz, and the philosophical influences of Nietzsche and Wittgenstein on his thinking. He also analyzes the current state of the art in jurisprudence worldwide, legal education, the linguistic, practical, and metaphysical turns in legal theory, and shares reflections on literature and the society’s uprising political challenges in general.
