Abstract

This text presents part of a larger research around the journalistic reportage in narrative spaces created and maintained by journalists in the digital environment. It analyzes a set of materials about the social tensions in Brazil published on the investigative journalism website Agência Pública. For a more refined reading, the text works with 11 extended reports produced in 2012, all published in the category Marcadas para morrer. In order to produce knowledge based on the analysis of the narrative, this research is grounded in the reflective proposition of the philosopher Slavoj Zizek about the antagonisms of contemporary capitalism. In the search for textual evidence that characterizes the space in question some possible ways for journalism are discussed. The mapping allows the Agência Pública to find a map on the complex emergencies and antagonisms that characterize our time and the ways to narrate it.
