Abstract

The article is part of a bigger research project developed for two groups of researchers of Unisinos (Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos) and UAB (Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona). Trying to characterize a very specific universe of media reception, it presents and discusses, basically, some aspects of the socio-cultural profile of the 140 inmigrants interviewed in the context of the inquiry.
