Cutting the time through the events: an exercise of periodization for Communication

Abstract

This article presents a methodology developed to perform a work of periodization in Communication area. First, it defines the time for the History applying it to the area of Communication. Next, we examine some periodizations already performed in Brazil by this area of knowledge. Finally, the methodology is applied to an object hitherto unexplored: Brazilian cabodifusion, leading us to the final comments about the project.
