Physical and social technology: The new paradigms of intellectual propriety vis-à-vis the innovation system

Abstract

The article discusses technological innovation in the physical and social technology as an important factor of economic development among the nations and their asymmetries in the global market. It analyzes the paradigms of the institute of intellectual property vis-à-vis the systems innovation, as well as the urgency of structural changes concerning the protective rules of the intangible knowledge of companies. It also takes into account the fact that economic development is intimately linked with the companies’ ability to produce and generate intellectual capital. This research is justified by the current transformations, leading companies to look for a new rhythm, more appropriate and compatible with the economic, technological and social development, as an emergency measure resulting from the advent of the new era of knowledge.
