The main objective of this article is to theoretically problematize the relations between memory, communication, and consumption. At the same time, it is taken as an empirical object to exemplify the reflections proposed in the event Day1, thrown by the organization Endeavor. More specifically, an analysis of the narratives of Heloisa Helena de Assis’s lecture, Zica, CEO of the Natural Beauty Institute, is taken from the YouTube video-sharing site. The methodological procedures are summarized in the transcription of Zica’s lecture and the selection of excerpts for analysis, based on the theoretical contributions of authors such as Halbwachs, Bosi, Nora, Nunes, and Pollak.
Keywords: memory, biographical spaces, job, communication, consumption.
