The main concern of this article is the interdependence between communication and space from the integration of audiovisual and electronic media in the digital culture. For this, we try to explore the contingencies of information space and spatiality sensory schemes not limited to visual surfaces nor geographic locations. In this sense, the notion of continuous space bound to surfaces will be questioned by the media discrete presence and by the multiplication of cultural codes. Thus, geography and geopolitics confront the use of spaces both inner and outer space as means of information and communication.
Keywords: semiotic space, modelling, media, spatial turn, geopolitics.
