Higher Education reformation: New regulations and University reconfiguration

This study aims at discussing the reconfiguration of Higher Education and, mainly since 1980, of University, in consonance to the transformations brought by economic globalization, because one understands that regulation of educational policies links to nowadays capital stage of flexible accumulation all over the world. In this context, we analyzed the reformations of Higher Education carried out in Lula da Silva (2003-2010) and Dilma Rousseff (2011-2014) governments as well as its approximation to international organisms’ guidances and to the Bologna Process, in European Union. In the accomplishment of this work, one used bibliographical research and documental analysis. One verified that carrying out changes in State and Market are promoting significant alterations in the way of conceiving University and in the exercise of its purposes.
