On the use of curricular knowledge: The investigative potential of the AMEM
Abstract
This paper discusses concepts about the use of knowledge and challenges the Brazilian curricular policy with respect to the improvement of investigative practices and the implementation of information and communication technologies. In order to do that, the authors carried out an investigation-action process at schools through a dialogic and challenging approach, making use of an Internet-based multimedia teaching-learning environment as a technological mediator. The article assesses the use of curricular knowledge in the context of the practice of teaching and investigation, showing that a virtual multimedia environment cannot by itself generate and support such a practice.
Key words: use of knowledge, investigation-action process at schools, multimedia environment for teaching and learning.Downloads
