This is a paper about peace and education for peace, in times of colonization; that they were not extinguished with the declarations of independence of the countries of the South; rather, coloniality perpetuated the avoidance. Our main objective is to introduce the peace-justice binomial complex as necessary for planetary life, since there is no peace without justice and vice versa. The writing is built on the complex thinking of Edgar Morin, Raimón Panikkar and Pierre Weil's art of living in peace, seeking to weave the peace-justice binomial. It is a rhizomatic writing, supported by transparadigmatic studies. We argue that the predicates of the peace-justice binomial can only be achieved with an education that causes a break with the global coloniality that is imposed on people, turning them into oppressors or oppressed, feeding the system and strengthening the status quo.
