By analyzing the discourses on the implementation of the National Project of Civic-Military Schools (PNECM) through the Brazilian printed media, the article proposes the construction of a hemerographic archive with records related to the theme in the newspapers O Estado de São Paulo, Folha de São Paulo and O Globo. As methodology, we used the Foucauldian-inspired archive analysis, which highlighted the PNECM as an integral part of the movement of militarization of everyday life that corroborates the imperative si vis pacem para bellum in the promotion of an education focused on bellicose ways of life.
