The interdisciplinary training of science teachers: a case study of the Degree in Natural Sciences

The degree course of graduation in Natural Sciences from the Federal University of Vale do São Francisco, Campus Senhor do Bonfim, was implemented in August 2009, within the scope of the Support Program for Restructuring and Expansion for Federal Universities, and restructured in 2017, for contributing to the training of Nature Science teachers. Since its genesis, interdisciplinarity was a fundamental foundation for its curriculum, that has as the integrating axis the science education. Through the analysis of the contents of documents and questionnaires, it discusses the actions of the teachers that aim to overcome the discipline, thinking about the impact of these actions in the training of undergraduates.
