This text is the result of a bibliographic research in which we assumed the objective of studying the psychoanalyst Alice Miller's work to understand her criticism about pedagogy and about the school. We have collected in her work analyzes of children's mistreatment, their effects on hatred's production and their strength in sustaining a violence chain throughout society. We have strived to understand her way of conceiving reparation as a way of undoing the hatred installed in the dynamics of a subject's constitution. We analyzed how much the criticism about school considers or not the possibility of introducing reparation as part of an educational processes. The initiation in the studies of Alice Miller's work allows us to discuss possible contributions of knowledge elaborated by Psychoanalysis for a establishment of a horizon of collaboration with Education in its effort to respond to challenges posed to school in contemporary society.
