Abstract

This article addresses the use of the psychoanalytic psychotherapy linkage under a context of preparing children for adoption. By a clinical case, we discuss the use of this thesis in the joint treatment of two sisters sent by court to the school-clinic, with a dual purpose: to evaluate their inclusion in an adoptive family and to assist them to elaborate the trauma of previous devolutions. The conclusion is that the use of the psychoanalytic setting in the preparation of the children for the adoption has demonstrated its efficiency in order to provide a space for the elaboration of the anguish involved in this process.

Keywords: fraternal link, Psychoanalysis Linkage, adoption.
