Interactive practices in digital environment and Portuguese language teaching
Abstract
There are many discussions about the insertion of new information and communication technologies (NICTs) in educational contexts and the emergence of pedagogical practices which address the challenges of contemporary times. The aim of the present study is to investigate the teaching of Portuguese in a digital context, trying to find out how students of a distance Portuguese course interact in a virtual learning environment (VLE) and, thus, build their own knowledge. Based on data generated in a forum of a distance learning course of Instrumental Portuguese, whose goal was to stimulate the students’ manifestation in relation to the course, we analyze the enunciative behaviors presented by them in the mise en scène of the communicative act in which they participate in a digital context. Thus, we consider theoretical concepts related to digital literacy practices, in dialogue with the concept of language act as an interaction of intentionalities, a characteristic of the Semiolinguistic Theory of Discourse. The results allow us to recognize the position that the subject-student occupies in relation to the interlocutor, to what he himself says and also to what the other says.
Keywords: New Information and Communication Technologies, enunciative behaviors, teaching Portuguese.
