This article is a continuation of previous studies that we developed based on an experience within the scope of a mini-course on fables for teachers, in which participants were challenged to act out a written fable, transforming it into a theatricalized fable (XX; XX; XX, 2020 and 2021). We believe that the section presented here is innovative because it specifically focuses on retextualization activities (Marcuschi, 2004) within the scope of oral teaching. The theatricalization of a fable within the scope of a didactic itinerary proved to be quite productive in terms of thinking about retextualization processes and their potential in activities involving the production of oral genres at school.
