Author Biographies

Adolfo Tanzi Neto, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ)

Doutor em Linguística Aplicada e Estudos da Linguagem pela PUC-SP, com estágio doutoral na Universidade de Oxford, Departamento de Educação, no Centro de pesquisa Sócio Cultural e da Teoria da Atividade. Mestre em Linguística Aplicada pela UNICAMP. Licenciatura em Língua Inglesa pela Broward Community College, Flórida - EUA (BCC), concluindo no curso de Letras Inglês/Português da PUC-SP. Foi Professor Adjunto do Departamento de Humanidades e Letras na UNILAB e Professor Visitante na UFBA, Instituto de Matemática e Estatística, Departamento de Ciência da Computação, na linha de pesquisa em Informática e Educação. Atualmente é Professor Adjunto, Chefe de Departamento - Letras Anglo-Germânicas da UFRJ e professor no Programa de Pós-Graduação Interdisciplinar em Linguística Aplicada (PIPGLA) da UFRJ na linha 2 de pesquisa - discurso e práticas sociais.

Brian Morgan, Glendon College/York University

Associate Professor and ESL Director in the Department of English at Glendon College/York University in Toronto, Canada, where he teaches courses in content-based EAP, language teacher education, and graduate courses in Applied Linguistics. His primary research area is in critical theories, literacies and pedagogies and their potential implementation across English Language Teaching contexts. Another area of research interest relates to language and identity with a particular emphasis on language teacher identity work. 

Christine Siqueira Nicolaides, Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS)

Graduada em Letras Português e Inglês pela Universidade Católica de Pelotas (UCPel). Mestra em Letras pela UCPel e Doutora em Letras pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Fez pós-doutorado pela San Francisco State University. Atualmente está vinculada como Professora Pesquisadora do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Linguística Aplicada da Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS) e do Programa Interdisciplinar de Pós-Graduação em Linguística Aplicada da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
