This article aims to disseminate the master's research developed on digital discourse and humor, focusing on the analysis of the humoristic augmentation through comments in the digital environment. The corpus analyzed in the present work is composed of a comic strip selected on the digital platform Instagram of the profile Um Sábado Qualquer and the respective comments inserted by readers/followers. In order to understand the construction of humor in the comic strips and comments, M. A. Paveau's (2017) digital discourse analysis was used, with a focus on comments and discursive augmentation and the theory of semantic scripts of humor by V. Raskin (1985). Together, these theories allowed us to understand the construction, both humorous and discursive of the strips in their relationship with features and interactive possibilities of the digital environment in which they are inserted. The research results indicate a connection between the primary text and conversational comments, indicating that the formation of humor in digital environments such as Instagram permeates a sequence of humorous acts, made possible by the discursive augmentation through comments.
