Semasiology/Phonology-Stylistics reflexions of audiovisual products

Abstract

Semasiology-Stylistics regards about the study of the style centered in sense, that is, the signification provoked by the expressive and impressive values in the field of thoughts and feelings, most of the times confronting logic. Phonology-Stylistics, in turn, comprehends the group of figures of harmony: onomatopoeia, alliteration, assonance, paronomasia, among others. It questions, with that, how the stylistic works to provide the humor in the audiovisual. We then analyse the episode “O Fascinante Mundo Masculino” (The Fascinating Male World), from the web series “Crises Inúteis de um Relacionamento Qualquer” (Useless Crysis of a Random Relationship), as well as the drops “Manual de um Casal Quase Normal” (Manual of an Almost Normal Couple), discussing about how the figures of thinking and of harmony contribute to the production of the comical in an audiovisual product.
