Circulation of news on mobile media ecosystem: The relation between journalistic applications and social network sites

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to discuss the relationship between journalistic applications and social network sites, focusing on the possibilities of participation to users on applications in respect to the re-circulation of news in social network sites. The exploratory study was conducted through the combination of qualitative and quantitative techniques. The discussion took place from the literature review and data collected in a mapping of journalistic applications of Globo.com, Uol and Estadão portals.
