Jornalismo popular e o sensacionalismo
Abstract
This paper, while showing historically how the idea of yellow press developed in Brazil, emphasizes the fact that this type of news reaches to the sensations of the public. The work also takes into account a kind of reading protocol that exists between the public and the text – textual marks can be found in the editions. Thus, the reader receives the text according to a kind of instruction present in it. The page edition, the pictures, the breaks in the narrative, the typology used, everything points to a reader and a type of reading. These are the protocols that reach the sensations that would mark this kind of journalism we call yellow press.Issue
