Abstract
The paper shows that the Brazilian media had a complicated beginning and was dependent on developed countries. It also analyzes the Brazilian constitutions and discusses the issue of property, particularly chapter 5 of the present constitution, which deals with communication, highlighting the involvement of politicians, clergy and natural persons in this area. It examines the entry of foreign capital and the present media scene in Brazil.Issue
