Telejornalismo: a pacificação do sentido

Abstract

Brazilian television newscasts seem to be one the beloved fruits of dictatorship of 1964. They mantain a totalitarism of meaning, although they have been living with democratization since 1985. These issues are the object of this article´s reflection on the basis of Roland Barthes´ semiology.
