Abstract

Complexity and the risk which is closely dependent lead to a particular form of collective design which differs from that of the ordinary products by plurality from knowledge and mobilized actors. The latter must be understood and interact in a dubious universe to achieve a goal of collective creation while controlling the associated risks. Also the communication in the risk management appears determining to us. But the observation of the practices and the analysis of certain intermediate objects (plans, diagrams, documents of analysis...), which materialized the activity of design throughout development of a project, leaves think that this communication dimension is often forgotten, even abused in a technical universe a priori not very concerned.
