Abstract

This article, based on the ideas of Charles Sanders Peirce (1839-1914), mostly the ones about speculative grammar – from which it extracts methodological strategies for reading and analyzing empirical processes of signs –, reflects on the journalistic political cartoon as a concrete system of signs.
