Modelos para jornalismo cidadão e uma análise do cenário brasileiro
Abstract
“Citizen Journalism” is a fairly new concept, personifying non-professional people made journalism. With internet popularization and larger information and communication technology availability, the model becomes more used around the entire world. There are reports about some success cases, like the South Korean Ohmynews, a reference on citizen journalism. In Brazil, the initiative is still bashful and the model it seems doesn’t completely work. This paper describes the context of citizen journalism models and measures the reasons of its apparent failure on Brazil, pointing the imperative adaptation for the model.Issue
