The movement Pro-Am and practice of collaboration in the media information: specifics of collaborative journalism on digital networks

This paper reflects on the collaboration as a characteristic feature inherent to the model known as participatory journalism. It starts with the premise that the term participation is limited to the description of the practice. Another point developed is the ability of the Pro-Am in collaborative journalism as a movement complexifies exchanges between journalists and amateurs in digital newspapers, surpassing the prospects of a process of joint participation. Observed points in the study indicate that collaborative journalism on digital networks is a communicative modality that has marked peculiarities due to its shape and complexity of trade between that enables journalists and amateurs. Collaboration is indeed one of the aspects that differentiate their systems in cyberspace. Also, another characteristic that distinguishes the production is ubiquitous, occurring from the widespread use of computers in collective mobile wireless environments.
