Abstract
This article analyzes, through the structural-differential method, the creation of jobs in Brazil, having as comparative base the Brazilian Federated States, from 1970 to 1980. The data were obtained of the Population Censuses published by the IBGE. Through this study the disparity of the capacity of creating States jobs could be perceived. Additionally, Ii is possible to realize that this disparity would be responsible for the industrial concentration in the following decades.
