The financial globalization process and the effects on domestic economies

This work presents the current debate concerning the process of financial globalization and it seffects on the local economies. It seeks understand the birth of financial globalization process in the changes which have happened in the structure of international financial system after the breakdown of Breton Woods. The paper also shows how the growth of this phenomenon has a strong impact on the capacity of National States in the management of its economic policies as unfolding imposing strong constraints to the sub national governments.
