Development crisis and alternatives: State of the art from Bolivia

Abstract

The following study analyzes in a critical way the concept of development and leading, modernizer and globalizing paradigm, inescapable for all societies, having as main priority the economic growth. This paper is based on the research results and impacts, concerning the humanity and its counterpart, nature. It has as a starting point, the Second World War, still present nowadays, even though it has a significant ineffective view that exposes a crisis in the civilization of the planet. Furthermore, this research focuses on the possible theoretical answers, taking into account the philosophy of “Good life” or “Living well”.

Julio Alvarez Quispe, es PhD. en Ciencias Sociales de Atlantic Internatinal University; Magister en Estrategias, Políticas y Proyectos de Desarrollo de la Universidad San Francisco Xavier; Especialista en Gerencia de Proyectos de Inversión de Consulting Busines & Training; tiene varios diplomados en temas indígenas, interculturalidad y gestión pública; es Licenciado en Antropología de la Universidad Católica Boliviana San Pablo.
