Abstract

Uno de los ejemplos más utilizados en la filosofía política para estudiar el significado de las constituciones es el pasaje de “Ulises y las Sirenas”. Después de pasar una temporada en el palacio de Circe, Ulises emprende el camino de regreso a Ítaca. La diosa le revela que la primera aventura que tendrá que superar es no dejarse seducir por el canto de las sirenas. Para poder cumplir su objetivo, Ulises tapa los oídos de sus marinos con cera, después de pedirles ser atado al mástil. De esta forma, cuando Ulises pidiera ser desatado, sus compañeros permanecerían sordos a sus demandas.
