Abstract

The object of this article is to comment the experience of a group of small lumber industrialists who grew and modified his form to produce managing to increase sales, to reduce the waste and to improve quality and design in the Nineties in Dominican Republic, in the middle of installed neoliberal policies like unique direction of the public policy. They did it through the conformation of groups of collective efficiency, an action strategy that conjugates the commercial thing with the production, the cultural thing with the ways to take the business ahead, and knows to incorporate to a style of collective management (where the companies in addition do not lose their individuality) the own knowledge and the forms to do of the small industrialists of the peripheral countries through learnings between pairs.
